We are a fun group of people and we would love to have you join us.  We have speakers, luncheons, share stories and information, and just have an all around good time.  We are members of MSAA, MSF and NMSS.  We also have a full activity calendar every month from September thru May.  You can always feel free to bring a friend to any of our activities!  Remember May is the last month for our regular meetings and activities (except bowling) until we resume after our summer break in September.

  On this form, you will only need to type your Name once under "Names" in the next paragraph (You must type in your name or I won't know who sent this form).  You can respond to as many activities at one time as you wish.  When finished responding to all the activities you wish to respond to, click any "Submit Button" any where in the grey area located under "Names".  Don't click Submit until you are done.  It will send a form with all your responses at one time!   Thank You for your RSVP!

** Please note, this started Oct. 3rd....Anyone still interested can try contacting Kate Robbins at (352) 732-7300 to see if there are still any openings left.  We have been approved for the Therapeutic Horseback Riding Grant that we were working on getting a grant thru MSF/Copaxone.  There was still some money left over for 5 or 6 people from our group and we already have people interested for the Fall session.  Those names are listed below!  If anyone else is interested, please complete the information below ASAP  (The grant is only for people with Multiple Sclerosis and does not include care partners).  We will see if there is any way we can add additional people, if not now then you will be at the top of the list for the next session after this one.  You will have a one hour session, one day per week, for 10 weeks.  You will need to contact Kate Robbins, MTRA Program Director at (352) 732-7300 and let her know you are part of the Marion County MS Group to see if there are still openings.  Volunteers also need to contact the facility themselves at 352-732-7300 to let them know what they are interested in doing and when.  You can download your forms for both Riding and Volunteering at http://www.mtraocala.org/images/mtraocala.org/NewsSub.aspx?contentName=News%20and%20Events&news=1.  For Riders, go to the lower right hand corner under Documents, Click "Rider Signup Info" and "Rider Medical Form" and Print them out and fill them out and have your Neurologist sign the release form.  You must have an MS

I need an App.  I have an App. but am still Filling it out (need Dr's signature, etc.)  I already sent App.  I downloaded App. from Online  Some spouses, etc. have mentioned a desire to Volunteer to help with horses or taking care of place. Volunteers need to contact MTRA at 352-732-7300 to set things up as to what you would be interested in doing and when, etc.

    Wed. March 10, 17, 24, 31 - AMF Galaxy East - Ocala  - Must Check in at Desk by 9:45 a.m. - We can reserve the end lanes any time we know ahead of time that we need the for scooters, wheelchairs, etc.  The cost is $9.00 for 3 games (There was a price increase of $1.00, but you automatically get a coupon for a free game of open bowling any time within 30 days and they added back in an extra colored pin) and you can win money by picking up splits, getting a strike on colored headpin, buying 6 tickets for $1.00 and having your number called and getting 50 cents for each pin you knock down on next turn on First Ball thrown and many other ways to win.  There is no competition between people...anyone can win money and it's all for fun!  You must sign in at their desk by 9:45 a.m. on that Wednesday to participate.  It will go til 12:00 p.m.  They are making special provisions for us.  Also, for those that are not able to bowl 3 games due to physical limitations, they will let us share the games...in other words one person in a scooter might bowl 2 games and another bowl the other game and split the cost.  This is only for people that are unable due to physical limitations.  This is the reason we changed all of our other group activities to 1:00 p.m, so that anyone that wanted to do the bowling and still participate in our other activities could do both.  Let's have a great turn-out.  It's alot of fun!  Please RSVP

I will be having more Yard Sales/Estate Sales, but probably not til after the Holidays at my house at 6921 SW 84th St., Ocala and also at my mom's house to help raise additional money to cover my real estate taxes and other expenses for anyone that would like to come by and check it out.  I-75 to 200S go 4 miles, Pass Queen of Peace Church, See Auto Tech - Get in Left Lane, Turn Left into Sun Country on SW 69th Ct. Rd. (Across from Joy Lutheran Church), then take immediate Left onto SW 84th St., 3rd Place on Left. Thank you to those of you that have already donated.   I will keep you posted.
