The Grant has been approved for the Therapeutic Horseback Riding thru MSF/Copaxone. Anyone interested, please complete the information below ASAP. We will be starting on Fri. February 20th (sometime in the morning, but I don't have the exact time yet). Everyone will need to be there for registration (must be signed up ahead of time with applications completed and turned in) and a speaker from MSF will be there. After that, there will be an evaluation ride for each person. There are still a couple of spots left. They will be on a first come first serve basis. You will meet have a one hour session, one day per week, for 7 weeks (which could possibly be extended). Volunteers need to contact the facility themselves at 352-732-7300 to let them know what they are interested in doing and when. You can download your forms for both Riding and Volunteering at http://www.mtraocala.org/images/mtraocala.org/NewsSub.aspx?contentName=News%20and%20Events&news=1. For Riders, go to the lower right hand corner under Documents, Click "Rider Signup Info" and "Rider Medical Form" and Print them out and fill them out and have your Dr. sign the release form. For Volunteers, Click "Volunteer Forms" (for the location we will be riding at) or "Volunteer Hillcrest Forms" (for the other location) and Print them Out, then fill them out and mail them to me at Jean McGrail, 6921 SW 84th St., Ocala, FL 34476. Please note for those of you that went on the MTRA field trip that this is not in the same location that we went to. It is in the New Greenway Facility as listed above that they talked about.
